Yes, you can already buy an advent calendar from a Belgian chocolatier: on 1 October 2026, Marcolini lists it at €55, Neuhaus offers four from €39 to €162.50, and Leonidas sits around €24 to €30 depending on the online shop. By weight, the gap runs from €8 to €22 per 100 g.
Which chocolatier calendars are already on sale on 1 October?
I checked the official product pages on 1 October 2026 and I only put figures on what I read there. Three houses stand out: Marcolini, Neuhaus and Leonidas.
| House | Calendar | Price checked | Stated contents | Listed weight | Status when checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pierre Marcolini | "Noël en cuisine" | €55 | 25 doors: pralines, creamy hearts, truffles, Petits Bonheurs, two exclusive creations (pistachio marzipan, marshmallow), four recipes | not published | on sale, limited stock |
| Neuhaus | Classic | €39 | 25 Belgian pralines and milk chocolate figures filled with hazelnut praliné | 264 g | in stock |
| Neuhaus | The Book | €69 | 25 pralines and a limited-edition "Souvenir" star | 319 g | in stock |
| Neuhaus | L'Irrésistible | €96 | 25 Irrésistibles in 11 flavours, including Sublime and Épice (limited editions) | 538 g | in stock |
| Neuhaus | To share | €162.50 | not stated in what I read | not checked | price listed, page not read |
| Leonidas | 24 pieces (FR shop) | €23.90 | 24 pralines in milk, dark, white | not stated | no stock status or year on the page |
| Leonidas | 360 g (leonidas-choco.com) | €29.80 | 24 doors | 360 g net | out of stock, year not stated |
| Godiva | Holiday 24 pieces | $58 (US shop) | 24 chocolates | 9.5 oz, about 269 g | in stock in the US, Belgian offer not checked |
The calendars from Galler, Corné Port-Royal, La Maison du Chocolat, Jean-Paul Hévin, Valrhona, Michel Cluizel, Läderach and Lindt are not in this table: I found no Belgian page from this year that I could cite without guessing.
How much is the Pierre Marcolini advent calendar this year?
€55, which is one euro more than last year, when the Art Déco edition was announced at €54. That is a rise of 1.85%.
This year's calendar is called "Noël en cuisine": a beige grimoire-style binding, twenty-five doors and four of the house's recipes slipped in with the chocolates. A Moleskine collaboration version, with a recipe notebook in the collection's colours, is offered separately.
My reservation fits in one word: weight. It is missing. The page does not publish it, and without it the price cannot be brought down to 100 g. I can say what is in the box, not what a gram is worth. And I have not tasted this edition, so I will not say whether it is any good either.

Why does Neuhaus offer four calendars?
Because they are not aimed at the same buyer, and the price says so before the box does. The Classic at €39 is for whoever wants twenty-five doors without thinking about it. The Book at €69 tells the story of cocoa in four illustrated chapters. The Irrésistible at €96 unfolds into a tree and holds nothing but Irrésistibles, the house's signature praline, in eleven flavours. The sharing calendar, at €162.50, is aimed at a couple or an office.
Year on year, the house raised its prices. In the press release of 15 September 2025, the Classic cost €38, the Book €68.50 and the sharing calendar €160.50. This year: €39, €69 and €162.50. That is +2.6%, +0.7% and +1.2%.
The detail that stuck with me: I could not read the French page for the sharing calendar on the day of the check. A reseller site advertises 78 chocolates and a kilo, but its prices do not match the official page, so I do not reuse its figures.
Which one is cheapest by weight?
Among those that publish their weight, the 360 g Leonidas, then the Neuhaus Classic. The sum is simple and I redid it for each: price divided by listed weight, scaled to 100 g.
| Calendar | Price | Listed weight | Price per 100 g |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leonidas 360 g (out of stock when checked) | €29.80 | 360 g | €8.28 |
| Neuhaus Classic | €39 | 264 g | €14.77 |
| Neuhaus L'Irrésistible | €96 | 538 g | €17.84 |
| Neuhaus The Book | €69 | 319 g | €21.63 |
This table has limits, and they weigh more than the numbers:
- The listed weight may include the packaging: the Neuhaus pages do not say, whereas Leonidas states 360 g of net chocolate.
- A price per gram ignores what is inside: a milk chocolate figure and a filled praline are not worth the same.
- The Book costs the most per gram, probably because you are also paying for an illustrated story, not only for chocolate.
- Marcolini and Godiva fall out of the calculation for lack of a usable weight in euros.
Leonidas, one calendar, two prices
Two online shops, two pages, two prices: €23.90 for 24 pieces, €29.80 for 360 g. Neither says whether it is this year's edition. Compare them on the day you buy.
And Godiva, Galler, Corné Port-Royal, Lindt, Läderach?
Godiva does list a 2026 calendar of 24 chocolates at $58, but on its American shop, and I did not find a Belgian equivalent. For Galler, supplier to the Belgian Court since 1994, and for Corné Port-Royal, Lindt and Läderach, my searches turned up nothing dated that I can cite. I would rather leave those cells empty than fill them with last year's calendar.
To place these houses overall, our comparisons Godiva or Pierre Marcolini and Neuhaus or Leonidas give the range benchmarks.
When should you order a chocolatier calendar?
At Marcolini, early: the page mentions limited stock as of 1 October, and recommends buying between mid-October and early November. Delivery is stated as one to two working days in Belgium, with in-store pickup possible within two hours.
At Neuhaus, the page states delivery in two to three working days for any order placed before 9 pm, and models in stock. No rush. As long as a model is listed in stock, it can be ordered.
A tip from the field: look at the allergens for the exact model, not for the house. The Irrésistible adds soy, wheat and barley to what the Classic contains, and European Regulation 1169/2011 requires that information on every product. You can read the text on EUR-Lex.
This page is updated until mid-November
I add to the table with each newly confirmed Belgian page, and the date at the top of the page moves with it. To choose by recipient rather than by price, our guide advent calendar chocolate: which one to choose remains the starting point, and which Belgian chocolate to give at Christmas takes over for the 25th. The reference pages are those of Marcolini and Neuhaus, and for the history of the house, the Wikipedia page on Neuhaus.
